Designations & their meanings

CRS

The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation awarded to sales associates in the

residential sales field. The CRS Designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience

and education. Cynde is one of only two CRS's in Sublette County.   To receive the CRS designation,

REALTORS® must demonstrate outstanding professional achievements--including high-volume

sales--and pursue advanced training in areas such as finance, marketing and technology.  They must

also maintain membership in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and abide by its Code

of Ethics.

 GRI®

The GRI Designation Program Developed for members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®

and offered through State REALTOR® Associations, the GRI program includes 90 hours of coursework

on various topics such as marketing and servicing listed properties to real estate law.

 e-PRO®

The e-PRO Certification is a technology based designation and the only one available from the NATIONAL

ASSOCIATION of REALTORS®.   e-PRO® is specifically designed to help real estate professionals

thrive in the competitive world of online real estate.  Realizing the importance of technology

training, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) created a comprehensive Technology

Certification course. The real estate industry has undergone a fundamental change over the past

five years.  Today, more than 85% of all buyers and sellers begin their search online.  e-PRO®

certified agents have knowledge and tools needed to provide clients with the information they

need and the customer service they demand.  It's both hi-tech and hi-touch.

ABR

ABR designees join more than 30,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the

ABR® designation. All were required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in buyer

representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty, both in addition to

submitting documentation verifying professional experience.  REBAC, founded in 1988, is the world's

largest association of real estate professionals focusing specifically on representing the real estate buyer.

There are more than 40,000 active members of the organization world-wide.  THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION

OF REALTORS®, "The Voice for Real Estate," is the world's largest professional association, representing

over 1,000,000 members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry.

CNHS

The CNHS designation training covers architectural design and planning, blueprint reading, topography,

building site design, evaluating quality construction, materials, methods, construction terminology and

scheduling.  Studies also include successful buyer/builder relations, all aspects of customer service and

the use of various organizational tools and systems.

RCC

The RCC designation is earned as a result of successfully completing extensive coursework covering

major aspects of residential construction, materials, methods and design.  This knowledge provides

a foundation that allows graduates to communicate more confidently and professionally with buyers,

sellers, appraisers, inspectors, lenders, designers, engineers and construction professionals.  This

expertise positions them to better help their customers make their best decisions -- sets them apart

as true real estate professionals assuring both customer satisfaction and referrals.

4 Reasons to Work With the Top 4%

Less than 4 percent of the more than one million REALTORS® (one out of every 25 REALTORS) in

business today hold the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation, the highest

professional designation awarded to REALTORS® in the residential sales field.  Despite all the extra

expertise they have, a Certified Residential Specialist doesn't cost any more than any other REALTOR®

and their skills may actually

save you time and money.

Experience and Ethics

Every REALTOR® must have significant experience and completed many real estate transactions to

earn the Certified Residential Specialist Designation.  Your Certified Residential Specialist is able to

apply his or her education in the real world, giving you the knowledgeable, skilled service you expect.

You can rest assured you're dealing with a trained real estate expert who will treat you fairly and

professionally every step of the way.

A Focus on Home Buying and Selling

Whether you're looking to buy or sell a home, you face many risks along the way - financial risks,

legal risks, even the risk that a  home purchase or sale will fall through.  A Certified Residential

Specialist is trained to minimize those risks and is prepared to bring you the benefits of their

significant experience with a variety of successful real estate transactions.

Technological Expertise

Computers, the internet, mobile communications - each has helped make the market more efficient,

and at the same time, more daunting.  For that reason, the training required of your Certified

Residential Specialist focuses extensively on technology and its effect on the real estate business.

You can count on a Certified Residential Specialist not just to understand technology, but to use it

to make your home purchase or sale a worry-free experience.

SRES®

needs of home buyers and sellers age 50+.  The SRES® Council awards the SRES® Designation

and expertise to counsel clients age 50+ through major financial and lifestyle transitions involved in

relocating, refinancing, or selling the family home. Your SRES® has received special training, gets
